小巷中的小巷　 大火費力撲滅

苗栗市僑育國小附近一棟廢棄空屋，清晨5點多竄出火苗，鄰居起初誤以為小偷搜刮財物，驚覺是失火趕緊打119，因火場位於寬1米多的狹窄死巷，消防車根本無法開進，只能從數百公尺外佈水線灌救。而屋內堆滿雜物，大火快速竄燒，經快1小時才撲滅火勢，幸無人員傷亡。（楊永盛／苗栗報導）
