今天是西洋情人節也是元宵節，坊間有農民曆指今日不宜行房也忌嫁娶，以免褻瀆神明招厄運，但民俗專家認為，「挑日子辦事」是舊習俗，現代人不用忌諱。

今日出刊的《蘋果》報導，常民文化學會理事長劉還月表示，古代人行房是為傳宗接代，但現代人行房主要為情慾，因此不用太計較這些習俗。對於「忌行房」說法，汽車旅館業者認為並無影響，部分業者也表示，今晚住宿訂房已滿七成，估許午後將會出現休息的排隊車潮。（胡治言／綜合報導）
