紐約下暴雪　市長宣布不停課挨轟

美國東北部受暴風雪侵襲，災情伸延至紐約和華盛頓等地，不過紐約市長白思豪堅持學校不停課，讓學童在當地時間周四仍冒著風雪上學，被家長斥責市政府罔顧學童安全。

據《法新社》報導，白思豪辯稱，學校如常上課的決定，是基於前一晚的氣象預報，指反正父母需要上班，學童留在家裡反而不安全。目前暴雪致死人數增至18人，一名36歲孕婦在超市停車場被一部剷雪車撞死，醫護人員在危急下催生胎兒，但嬰兒出生後情況危殆。暴雪已造成約80萬戶電力中斷，逾6000班航班取消或延誤。美國總統歐巴馬宣布，喬治亞州和南卡羅來納州進入緊急狀態。（施旖婕／綜合外電報導）
