【上下游新聞】嘉義濕地迷宮 堪稱台灣亞馬遜

朴子溪是台灣內陸航運路線最長的溪流，東石出海口附近水筆仔、海茄苳生根，形成「濕地迷宮」，穿梭在僅容一艘膠筏的彎曲河道，遠望上萬白鷺展翅，彷如台灣亞馬遜河，泡在水裡的廢棄磚房，更提供活生生的歷史反思。

在鹽田復晒和濕地重生後，嘉義沿海成為有米、有鹽、有魚，又有生態的豐富聚落，鰲鼓濕地賞鳥、紅樹林遊船、魚市場喊價競標、在地友善環境大餐、晒鹽體驗⋯⋯，由於迷人的景點太多，甚至可以發展出兩套以上「小旅行」。（上下游記者林慧貞/報導）
