台中市豐原區樂活客庄慶天穿活動今天在歷史建築物「萬選居」登場，92歲萬選居住民張鄧添妹生平首度拿麥克風，對著眾人訴說二次世界大戰期間，美軍在萬選居共投下8顆子彈。她說，萬選居的觀世音菩薩似乎顯靈，掀起衣服接下子彈，僅萬選居的庭院被炸毀，居住的張家人、房子卻都平安無事，迄今牆壁上仍留有子彈碎片將牆壁炸出彈孔的痕跡。老阿嬤台風穩健，訴說當年的故事，贏得掌聲。
 
張鄧添妹不諱言，面對眾人說故事，真的很緊張，出門前，還詢問：「這樣穿可以嗎？」幸好張家晚輩鼓勵，事先當聽眾，很有耐心的聽我說故事，1次、2次之後，拿起麥克風就不再怯場。（蕭夙眉／台中報導）
